At JoSo Custom Guitar Works, we understand that a guitar is more than just an instrument; it's a tool for self-expression. After years as a guitarist, I never found a repair shop or luthier that spent the time to make the guitar "right for me". That's why JoSo Custom Guitar Works was founded to be different. Their repair quality and set-ups were fine; but I found the work was set for their playing style... not mine and after paying them; I still had to do work to make the instrument perform as I really wanted. We spend the time to work with the player to ensure we meet the customer's expectations and create a playing experience that is truly your own. Yes, You become part of the set-up process with some adjustments being made with you on the spot until we get it right.
Joe Lascola is the guitarists for Repeat Offender and performs all the work himself. "Honesty is key. If I am not confident in performing the job; I will point you in the right direction / refer you to a better person for your need."

We are a very small guitar shop and do not take on a lot of clients. Our specialty is in taking a new / existing "budget guitar" and making it a high end custom guitar. From selecting the right hardware, pickup and electronic upgrades to perfecting the neck profile, we meticulously tailor every aspect of your guitar to your preferences. Whether you're looking to upgrade your current instrument or create a custom build, we have the expertise to bring your vision to life.
